Pantheon e Basilica di Santa Maria ad Martyres

L’accesso al Pantheon-Basilica di Santa Maria ad Martyres sarà consentito tramite l’acquisto di un biglietto dal costo di 5 euro (ridotto a 2 euro per i giovani tra i 18 e i 25 anni). Il biglietto è gratuito per i visitatori che non abbiano compiuto il diciottesimo anno di età.

Il titolo di ingresso potrà essere comprato online sulla piattaforma MUSEI ITALIANI oppure direttamente alla cassa, davanti al monumento, in contanti o moneta elettronica.


AVVISI AL PUBBLICO

Orario di visita: Il Pantheon – Basilica di Santa Maria ad Martyres è aperto tutti i giorni dalle ore 9.00 alle ore 19.00, con ultimo ingresso alle ore 18.30.

Le biglietterie chiudono alle ore 18.00.

Il calendario di visite del Pantheon è definito su base mensile e i biglietti vengono messi in vendita alla metà del mese precedente.

In occasione della prima domenica del mese, i biglietti gratuiti si ritireranno direttamente presso le casse e i totem presenti in sede. Data la grande affluenza di pubblico nei giorni di gratuità, il titolo di ingresso non dà diritto ad accesso prioritario.

Gli orari possono subire variazioni in occasione di celebrazioni religiose. Si richiede la massima puntualità nel rispetto della fascia oraria prenotata.

Per i gruppi accompagnati, l’acquisto sarà permesso a un massimo di 25 persone oltre alla guida turistica. Per i gruppi che superano le 6 unità l’accesso è consentito solo con radioguide o sistemi whisper.

I gruppi scolastici dei Paesi della UE hanno diritto all'accesso gratuito. I biglietti possono essere ritirati sul posto al momento della visita, mostrando al personale in servizio presso la rampa dei disabili la lista della scuola con i nomi dei partecipanti. Non è richiesta alcuna prenotazione.

L’accesso è previsto in fasce orarie, dalle ore 9 alle ore 18 (chiusura ore 19, ultimo ingresso alle ore 18.30), fino a esaurimento disponibilità e fatte salve le esigenze liturgiche e pastorali. In ciascuna fascia oraria potranno entrare al massimo 1200 persone.

La vendita dei biglietti sarà interrotta un’ora prima dell'inizio di ogni attività liturgica, durante la quale, così come per la Santa Messa (ore 17 sabato e giorni prefestivi, ore 10.30 domenica e festivi), l’ingresso sarà libero e gratuito per l’esercizio del culto.

Modalità di acquisto dei biglietti:

L’acquisto on line del biglietto di accesso al Pantheon si effettua sul portale Museiitaliani con le seguenti modalità:

In caso di primo accesso, registrarsi su

1) www.museiitaliani.it (con nome, indirizzo e-mail e password) altrimenti accedere con le proprie credenziali

2) Una volta effettuato l’accesso, si apre la pagina dedicata al Pantheon

3) Scegliere la tipologia di visita

4) Scegliere il giorno, l’ora e la tipologia di biglietto (intero, ridotto, gratuito)

5) Verificare il riepilogo dell’ordine nel carrello

6) Confermare l’ordine

7) Una volta confermato l’ordine si viene indirizzati in PagoPA, dove è possibile completare l’acquisto mediante spid o e-mail. 

Si ricorda che soltanto in caso di mancata ricezione dei biglietti con i relativi QR code, la ricevuta di effettuazione dell'avvenuto acquisto può essere utilizzata per ottenere il diritto d’accesso al monumento, previa valutazione del personale in servizio. 

Si sottolinea che, come sopra richiamato, l’acquisto di un massimo di 25 biglietti è consentito una sola volta ad utente per fascia oraria e, nel caso di operazioni sulla piattaforma difformi da tale modalità, il sistema può restituire un errore d’acquisto, non imputabile a disservizi tecnici e pertanto non oggetto di rimborso.

Among the ancient classic buildings, the Pantheon is certainly the best preserved one, as a result of its transformation into a Church (Saint Mary and the Martyrs) in 609. The original structure was constructed between 27 and 25 BC by Marcus Agrippa to celebrate Augustus and was then dedicated to the main deities of the Julio-Claudian family. 

The present building was reconstructed during Emperor Hadrian’s time (118-125 AD). A huge cylindrical wall (the rotonda), more than 6 meters thick, supports the monumental vault, the largest unreinforced dome ever built, with a diameter  of  43.30 meters which is equal to its height.

Access to the Pantheon - Basilica of St. Mary and the Martyrs will require a ticket that costs € 5,00 (reduced rate € 2,00 for people aged from 18 to 25). The ticket is free for visitors who have not completed eighteen years of age.

NOTICE TO VISITORS

Opening times: The Pantheon – Basilica of S. Mary and the Martyrs is open every day from 9 am to 7 pm. Last entrance is at 6.30 p.m.

The ticket offices on site close one hour before the monument.

The visiting schedule of the Pantheon is set on a monthly basis, and tickets go on sale in the middle of the previous month.

Every first Sunday of the month, visitors will be able to collect free paper tickets directly from the desks and ticket machines inside the monument. The ticket does not allow visitors to skip ordinary lines.

The opening times may be subject to change in accordance with religious celebrations. Maximum punctuality is required with respect to the time slot reserved.

Visitors can purchase a maximum of 10 tickets.

Groups with a tour guide will be limited to a maximum of 25 people besides the guide. Groups from 6 people to 25 will be allowed in only with radioguides and whispers.

School groups from the EU countries are free. They can collect free tickets at the time of the visit by presenting a list of participants issued by the school to the staff on duty by the disabled access, without any previous reservation.

Access is divided into time-slots, from 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closing time 7:00 p.m., last admission 6:30 p.m.), according to tickets' availability and in compliance with the liturgical activities. Each time-slot allows a maximum of 1200  people inside the monument.

Tickets’ sale at the ticket offices on site will stop one hour before the religious celebrations; during these kinds of celebrations – as well as during the Holy Mass (Saturdays and pre-holidays 5:00 p.m.; Sundays and holidays 10:30 a.m.) – access will be free for devotees attending the celebrations.

Access will be free for specific categories of visitors in accordance with the Italian law.

Access will be free for the residents of the Municipaly of Rome (from 16th december 2023 to 15th march 2024).

Tickets’ purchase procedures

You can buy your ticket to access the Pantheon online, visiting the web-platform Museiitaliani and following this procedure:

If you are new to the platform

1) www.museiitaliani.it please register (name, address, email and password required), otherwise use your credentials to access the web-platform

2) Once you have accessed the web-platform, you will be re-directed to the Pantheon page

3) Select the type of visit

4) Choose the date, the time-slot and the ticket type (full, reduced, free)

5) Verify your order in the shopping cart

6) Confirm your order

Once you have confirmed your order, you will be re-directed to the PagoPA website to complete your order using your SPID or your personal email.

We remind visitors that only if tickets with QR code are not received through the email, the payment receipt can be used to  have access to the monument, upon evaluation of the Pantheon staff. 

We also remind you that the purchase of a maximum 25 tickets is permitted only once for time slot to a single user and, in case of online purchase not consistent with the procedure, there could be a glitch not ascribable to the website.

This organization is committed to offer an opening time as long as possible, in accordance with rules regarding safety and security in museums and archaelogical sites established by the italian law, pending new public selections aiming at increasing the staff to overcome the current shortage.

We remind visitors that during the holy masses only participants to the celebration are allowed in.
